Four-year monogram winner … only player in the 25-year history of Notre Dame women’s soccer to be a three-year captain (as voted by her teammates) … was unquestionably one of nation’s top center backs and a rock on the Notre Dame backline during her career … rarely missed a minute (let alone a match) during her college career, starting all 99 matches and playing 95.2 percent of the possible minutes (8,545 of 8,949) in a Fighting Irish uniform … great athleticism to match her tenaciousness around the ball … excellent understanding of tactics, strategy and defensive positioning … brought vocal leadership and toughness to the Notre Dame defense with a willingness to do whatever was necessary to keep the opposition off the board … also possessed great attacking instincts that were on display in her final season, helping boost Notre Dame offensive flow … gave the Irish an added dimension on set pieces with her ability to win balls in the air. gave Irish early lead at Seton Hall (2-0) on goal with just 3:49 elapsed … piled up career-high six shots at Rutgers (0-0) … broke first-half deadlock against Villanova (3-1) with opening score in 42nd minute … nabbed second assist of season on Senior Night against DePaul (5-1), setting up last of Melissa Henderson’s school record-tying four goals in 82nd minute, capping flurry of four Irish scores in less than 19 minutes.
