Practice Location

Does Anybody Know What Time It Is?

Notre Dame’s football team will practice outside at the LaBar Practice Complex unless inclement weather forces the team to Meyo Field inside the Loftus Sports Center. The LaBar Practice Complex is located directly south of the Guglielmino Athletics Complex (The Gug) and immediately east of Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center. The Loftus Sports Center is connected to the Guglielmino Athletics Complex and is just east of The Gug and north of the Courtney Tennis Courts.

Most of Indiana, including the South Bend area, now observes Daylight Savings Time, changing clocks in the spring and fall while remaining in sync with the Eastern Time Zone year round. Notre Dame and South Bend are now on the same time throughout the year as the East Coast and one hour ahead of Chicago and most of the Midwest. Note that not all counties in Indiana are on Eastern Time, including the Northwest Indiana counties of Lake, Porter and LaPorte, aligning themselves with Chicago and the Central Time Zone.

Media Parking Videographers from television stations and photographers with heavy equipment may park in the loading dock of the Guglielmino Athletics Complex as long as it does not block the entrance or exit to the gated staff parking lot. Reporters and other media members without heavy equipment should park south of Purcell Pavilion or Alumni Stadium. Parking is NOT permitted on the Jordan Hall of Science driveway immediately west of the main entrance to the Guglielmino Athletics Complex.
