This issue features Berea College alumni who are involved in scientific inquiry, including Dr. Rocky Tuan, who researches orthopaedic stem cell regeneration, Dr. Mark Lovell, who is coming closer to diagnosing and preventing Alzheimer’s disease, Dr. Linda Moneyham, who has created a counseling network for women suffering from AIDS/HIV, and Howard Strickler and Freda Turner, who work in communities to solve problems with drug addiction and lack of medical care.
