The AL50NS Silent Launcher can deploy a climbing line and hook without making the explosive noise that is normally emitted by air powered devices. Designed for covert operations, it is particularly useful in urban environments and in mountainous regions where echoing noise attracts attention. It can also be used by swimmers as it is submersible to a depth of 30 metres and can withstand immersion in seawater.

The AL6309 is a 63mm calibre launcher that has enough power to launch a grapnel and 8mm rope 40 metres vertically, or to deploy a 20 metre length of rope ladder. It is also suitable for throwing pilot lines to enable the pulling of heavy ropes. Ideal for ship to ship or ship to shore line throwing, it has a horizontal range of 200 metres with a 3mm pilot line. The unit can be fired up to 9 times from the rechargeable 500cc air cylinder.
