David Perkins Title/Occupation: Marketing director, Urner’s Inc. Christmas brings out the magic in everything: The word "magical” comes to mind. In so many ways, Christmas becomes a very magical time of year. The world, or maybe our perception of the world, seems to change. The weather changes, the stores change, even the music and messages at church change. The flavors, aromas, and sounds of the season all change, too. We slow down to pay attention to what really matters, family and friends, taking time to build lasting memories with both. We relish in the wonder and delight of the season in the eyes of our children and grand children. And when all is quiet and we focus on the real meaning behind this season, we recognize the magical, or more like the miracle, of Christ’s birth and what a real gift that is to all of us.
