Before this space belonged to baby Brooklyn, this pretty nursery was a simple guest room with light yellow paint on the walls. Needless to say, this mom and interior designer, couldn’t wait to get her hands on it. With a colorful and very eclectic personal style, Miranda Jordan of Pathways Unlimited LLC tends to mix vintage modern, contemporary and transitional furniture pieces and accessories. “I love retro pieces, so the nursery was a little out of character for me. I knew I wanted something with delicate, soft curves and a clean, glossy finish to brighten the room.” As a designer, Miranda found that her profession was her biggest obstacle to overcome. “We are our best friends

You fight yourself on every decision, and re-do and re-think everything, until your husband tells you to snap out of it and move onVbut their opinions do make a difference when you find yourself debating for hours on which picture to put where!” Other than pops of mauve, the color scheme was kept gender-neutral. “We wanted to keep the room in soft and soothing tones that would work well for an infant, but would also grow along with her.
