The KrAZ-63221 “Bridge” vehicle is a transportation unit of PMP heavy folding pontoon bridge and TMM treadway bridge of engineering troops. The engineering complex is designed to provide 227m long bridge crossing sites with loading capacity of 60 t or 382m long crossing sites with loading capacity of 20 t as well as to assemble pontoon ferries with a wide range of loading capacities. The float bridge set includes 38 units of specially equipped KrAZ-63221 trucks. The heavy mechanized bridge is designed for provision of crossing sites over 3m deep water obstacles to allow crossing of tracked vehicles with weight of up to 60 t and wheeled vehicles with axial rating up to 11 t. The vehicle can be successfully operated in the most hostile environmental conditions of all continents within temperature range of -50 to +60°C at an altitude of up to 5000 m above sea level, overcoming water barriers up to 1,5 m and snow cover up to 0,6 m. A centralized tyre inflation system provides high off-road capability on low-load-bearing capacity soils. Both right-hand and left-hand drive versions are available upon customer’s request. 6750
