OUR ADDED VALUE We analyze all human, social, cultural and traditional factors which surround the people with who we expect working. These factors have great relevance in the design of the intervention and in the election of materials as well as techniques for construction. Within this frame, ASF-‐E provides a quite important added value: • Approval and integration of the projects by local authorities and target population. • Optimal management of the funds in construction projects. • Adaptation of the design and the materials to the specific context, promoting quality, durability and reduction of environmental impact of the construction works. In case of direct civil works: • Ownership and generation of employment among local population thorugh self-‐construction. • Inclusion of work-‐shops related witch construction and building manteinance. • Reduction of costs and pollution as long as working with local suppliers. • Generation of incomes for the local population • Inclusion of gender perspective.
