The Mander and Mitchenson Collection is universally acknowledged as a precious archival resource of the British theatre. It contains programmes, playbills, posters, photographs, engravings, paintings and designs covering every London theatre past and present as well as thousands of items relating to the regional theatre. Its friends in ‘the business’ continue to entrust the Collection with scrapbooks and memorabilia as they have done since its earliest days.
