Welcome to the 49th annual Original Miami Beach Antique Show! It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 49th Annual Original Miami Beach Antique Show. Whether you have attended this show for years, or are coming for the first time, I believe you’ll be amazed by the sheer variety of merchandise on the show floor. The economy has had an interesting effect on the antiques industry and while some collectors have found it prudent to sell items long in their collections, many have found buying antiques to be an investment more sound than other options. The result for our attendees is a plethora of unique pieces brought to Miami Beach from all over the world. The variety you will find on the show floor this year is more varied than ever before. You’ll find everything from World War II binoculars to a German gilded enamel compact. New trends have emerged this year and some styles of merchandise have gained popularity such as 19th Century furniture, American and European paintings, Georg Jensen silver sets, the Japanese earthenwareSatsuma, Russian enamel serving pieces, Majolica and the always popular antique jewelry and watches. No matter what your tastes, I’m certain you’ll find that special piece at this event. This year we are making an effort to learn more about you, our attendee.
