Athletics Enhances Social Media Outreach To bring fans even more access to the Anderson Trojans, the sports information department has created a social media page that will allow fans to not only interact with other fans, as well as the teams here at Anderson. Earlier this month, an Instagram account was created to go along with the Facebook and Twitter accounts of the Anderson Trojans. With social media, fans can access photos, videos and a different look of the Trojans away from a press release. The Trojan family can follow teams such as baseball (@baseball_AU) and women’s soccer (@AUwomens_soccer) as well as head volleyball coach Craig Mosqueda (@
vbcoachmosquito) on Twitter, as well as “Like” AU women’s soccer or men’s soccer head coach John Murphy on Facebook. On Instagram, photos and videos can be viewed that gives the AU fan an inside look of what AU athletes are doing on and off the playing field. Reaching out to the Trojan family is something that the sports information department hopes to focus on for the upcoming season.
