Miscellaneous Information • From 2008-2009, the IAHSAA implemented a Substate round; beginning with the 2010 season, the title "Substate" was dropped and the playoffs now consisted of a 5-game tournament: 1st Round, 2nd Round, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and State Championship • For the first time since 2007, Bettendorf advanced to the Semifinals • Bettendorf's defense posted 4 straight shutouts (matching 1998 squad's feat) as well as 3 more shutouts for a school record of 7; the defense also allowed the second-lowest points ever scored in school history with 85 • Head Coach Aaron Wiley was the fifth Bulldog coach in school history to be named conference "Coach of the Year"
