The Media Kit

WHO is Family Feedbag? I’m Amy Bronee - a cookbook author, recipe writer, food photographer and cooking instructor. My employment background includes broadcasting and public relations. I live in Victoria, British Columbia with my husband and two young boys. My book, The Canning Kitchen: 101 Simple Small Batch Recipes (Penguin Canada, June 2015) celebrates the traditions of preserving in the modern home kitchen.

WHAT is Family Feedbag? This home cooking blog is about simple food from scratch. My content is homemade, including the original recipes and award-winning foodtography. I write about home cooking, recipes, cookbooks, grocery shopping, farm-totable, appliances, travel and more. Since starting FamilyFeedbag.com in early 2011, I have received several awards and recognitions, including a Jamie Oliver award, being named one of Canada’s top food bloggers by the National Post, and named one of Canada’s top 40 foodies under 40 by Western Living Magazine.

WHY partner with Family Feedbag? My readers do more than cook. They plan, shop, and then prep, cook and serve the meals that keep their busy families going. Content they read on FamilyFeedbag.com influences the decisions they make in their homes. Through social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest, readers stay engaged with FamilyFeedbag.com and find content that inspires them in their own kitchens. I’m choosy about the brands I partner with, which means your brand is valuable to me and will stand out from the crowd.

HOW can we work together? Tell me about your product. Show me what you grow. Brag about how much home cooks love what you’re doing! Whether it’s an exclusive original recipe with images for your brand, representing your brand with a live demonstration, or a sponsored post and giveaway, I want to hear your partnership ideas. You can reach me at amybronee@gmail.com.

What others say about Family Feedbag: “After reading Amy’s recipe for spaghetti with chicken in white wine parmesan sauce, we think we might want to drink the sauce right from the bowl. Amy’s fantastic foodtography leaves us drooling. We are delighted by the way she takes a recipe and adds an unexpected ingredient or two to make it unique and oh-so-tempting.” – SheKnows.ca “We love this blog because Amy’s recipes start from scratch and come out of her own garden. All of the content—recipes and images—are original and beautiful.” – SavvyMom.ca “Leave the sous vide to the chefs: what people want are simple, creative dishes to serve quickly. Enter Amy. In addition to raising a family, this young mom cooks straightforward recipes for home cooks that have garnered her five blogger awards (including one from Jamie Oliver), on top of teaching hands-on cooking classes for children and adults.” – Western Living Magazine “Amy’s blog is a collection of recipes and images all from her family kitchen on the West Coast. In love with apple pie and obsessed with canning—she warns us, it’s addictive—her blog features beautiful pictures, informative how-tos and great recipes that aim to include some agri-friendly, whole ingredients.” – Hill+Knowlton Strategies, government relations and PR consultancy
