Wales Breaks Its Silence‌ from Memories to Memorial Tue 3 July-Sat 6 October 10am-5pm The story behind the tragic sinking of the SS Arandora Star in 1940 when 53 Welsh-Italians lost their lives onboard this liner whilst being sent to internment camps in Canada.

Ffarwel Cymru Working Abroad Tue 9 October-Mon 31 December, 10am-5pm People who left Wales and the industrial causes for their migration.

The Woolly Tale 10am-5pm A fun and educational trail for families helping to discover the process from Fleece to Fabric.

Village Trail 10am-5pm A self guided walk around the village of Dre-fach Felindre highlighting historical and interesting facts about the woollen industry in the locality.

Looking to European folk art for continental inspiration to decorate locally sourced vintage enamelware picnicware plates and mugs. Materials supplied. £5. Booking essential.

Using Africa, its landscape and warm colours for inspiration to produce a collection of 'safari ethnic chic' jewellery using up-cycled materials, wooden beads, weaving and broken jewellery. £5. Booking essential.

Calling all craft enthusiasts We are hoping to set up an evening craft club at the Museum. Craft enthusiasts of all abilities are welcome.
