In July 1985 Altrusa International of Warsaw founded The Beaman Home shelter for the abused in Kosciusko County, Indiana. The Shelter opened with a victim waiting on the porch and we have never been empty since. We provide 24/6/365 assistance to victims of domestic violence and their families.
Almost 30 years later, the Kosciusko County Shelter for Abuse, Inc. operates The Beaman Home and its Ourteach programs. We support community families in growth toward full wellness in all aspects of their life...physical, emotional, intellectual, occupational, social and spiritual. Services are provided to domestic violence victims of Kosciusko, Fulton and Marshall Counties in Indiana.
