Isaiah 26:3 "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee". This was one of my Papa Gedney's favorite verses; in fact, it was on a ribbon included in a display of flowers on his casket when he died in 1980. Imagine the words here for a moment. When our mind is "stayed" on Him: when it isn't off in deep worry, where there is no room for worry, where anxious spirits cannot exist, where sin has no dominion: "stayed on Him". I encourage you today to keep your mind "stayed" on Him, who already understands and knows all that concerns you today and enjoy the Peace that only He can give you.
