We need to spend quiet time alone, not only reading our Scriptures, but time alone with Him. It is the best resource for your life. And to say you don’t have time: that doesn’t work! It is not time you do not have, it is desire. I have found that what I want to do in life, I make time for. As the opening chorus reminds us, when you make time to be in the presence of God, your troubles do vanish, your heart is mended, and you gain strength to handle whatever it is you are facing in life. You find yourself needing this time of reinforcement for your soul. When you enter into His presence daily and lay all your burdens down at His feet, you will notice a difference in how you handle your life and the issues surrounding it. If you are familiar the chorus I wrote at the top of this page, slowly sing it to yourself. If not, then I encourage you to clear the noise out of your head, all the voices of demand upon your life, and start saying the name of Jesus. Let the gentle breeze of the presence of Jehovah sweep over your life and renew you today.
