01.1 – EXT. DAY – Beach

Long lens, around 65mm, looking through grass, on a dune, against the sun. We see the bare feet of a young man in Jeans. So we see just the outline, the shape of the legs. He runs past the camera and gets pulled up into the air. Sand flies through the air, wind playes with the grass. We do not see any other kites yet.

01.2 – EXT. DAY – Beach

We see the bare feet of a young man in Jeans. So we see just the outline, the shape of the legs. He runs past the camera and gets pulled up into the air. Sand flies through the air, wind playes with the grass. We do not see any other kites yet.

02.1 – EXT. DAY – Beach

Amercian-Shot on the young man. He is pulling the lines of a kite. He is holding a kind of a harnist for the kite. The camera pans with the man, we see a American-shot of the boy first, ...

02.2 – EXT. DAY – Beach

... and then the camera pans...

02.3 – EXT. DAY – Beach

...into a full body shot of the boy. We look towards the beach, the sea, the sun. Big lens flairs shine into the camera. The young man is around 25 years of age. A cool surferboy. Barefeet, jeans, tshirt. Levis-Red-Hot-Chilli-Peper-Kind-of-Guy.

03 – EXT. DAY – Beach

We see eight or even more lines, going up into the sky. 50 mm lense.

04 – EXT. DAY – Beach

We are in an over shoulder of the young man, he is looking up into the sky. And we follow his view and see his kite, an other kite is flying into frame. We do not see yet that the kites are made out of bottles.

05 – EXT. DAY – Beach

The young man is in the foreground, we look past him, with a long lens (maybe a 85mm) and look at a pretty girl. Focus changes from the boy to the girl. She is also flying a kite, smiling at the young man in a sweet way. Wind in her hair.

06 – EXT. DAY – Beach

The camera shows us a two shot of the girl and the boy. Behind them we see that the whole beach is covered with kites. Everywhere people flying kites. On the beach.. but also kitesurfers on the water.

07 – EXT. DAY – Beach

The young girl is jumping right over the camera. 20mm lens, outline, against the sun.

08 – EXT. DAY – Beach

The camera is up in the sky and looks at the kites. The fly like in a beautiful choreography. We see around 10 kites. The kite closer to the camera shows us that it is different then normal. It is made out of plastic bottles.. but you will only see it if you pay good attention.

09 – EXT. DAY – Beach

One kite suddenly flies fast into the picture. We look at it from the back in a 45 Degrees angle. It is a medium shot of the kite. Half of the frame is covered by the kite. And we can see: it is made out of plastic bottles!

10 – EXT. DAY – Beach

We look into the kite, slightly from below. Strings in the foreground of the camera. The sun behind the kite. We can clearly see all the pretty line-ups of plasticbottles. The frame is nearly full covered by the “half-moonshape” of the kite.

11 – EXT. DAY – Beach

Three plasticbottle-kites fly in front of the camera and all change direction right in the same time. The camera is looking horizontal, on “eye-level” with the kites. The sea in the background.

12 – EXT. DAY – Beach

The camera looks down (from around 2 meters) at a seven year old girl. She stands on the beach and just looks into the sky, she marvels at the kites. The wind plays crazily with her hair.

13.1 – EXT. DAY – Beach

The camera follows one bottle-kite, like a POV of the little girl. The kites flies kamikaze-style down to the beach,

13.2 – EXT. DAY – Beach

but makes a hard curve, just before it would crash into the sand, and flies up into the sky again. Other kites and people in the background.

14 – EXT. DAY – Beach

We see the outline of a person, holding a small bottlekite, helping it to start. The kite is in the persons hands.. but then it starts to fly. Shot against the sun.

15 – EXT. DAY – Beach

A dog is running through frame, the camera is on beach level, we see many people and kites in the background.

16.1 – EXT. DAY – Beach

28mm. Endshot: We look down the beach. The camera is pretty high up in the sky, maybe around 20 Meters. A bottle-kite flies past the foreground and opens up the picture.

16.2 – EXT. DAY – Beach

We can see down the whole coastline. We can see at least 2 km of Belgium coast. The sun is very low. Everywhere are kites. Maybe 60 bottle kites, as far as the eye can see: Kites!
