British Columbia (Beta Theta) The chapter’s Cardiac Care Week and Dating Game events raised approximately $2,000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and Alpha Phi Foundation. Sisters participated in other sororities’ philanthropy events and the university’s long-standing Gladiator and Storm the Wall traditions. Collegians will host a new philanthropy event, Hoops for Heart, on Oct. 25. They also look forward to their first Red Dress-themed Founders’ Day celebration that will involve alumnae and parents. ONTARIO Western Ontario (Theta Eta)

UNITED STATES ARIZONA Arizona State (Gamma Pi) During the university’s annual Greek Awards ceremony, sisters received awards for Chapter of the Year, Excellence in Achievement and Excellence in Responsibility. They also received awards during the Pacific Northwest / Southwest Regional Conference for Most Improved Chapter and Most Improved Formal Recruitment. Their intramural soccer team went undefeated and took the All University Championship title. They also volunteered at a women’s shelter in downtown Phoenix in recognition of the Frances E. Willard Day of Service.

Members enjoyed sisterhood events. The chapter also hosted what it hopes will become an annual Women in Careers event, at which alumnae of Alpha Phi and other sororities spoke about career paths and how they have pursued their goals.

Cal Poly (Epsilon Chi)

Wilfrid Laurier (Iota Theta) Sisters welcomed 14 new members following formal recruitment. They hosted two annual philanthropy events, Coyote Ugly and a Red Dress Gala, that raised more than $6,000 for Alpha Phi Foundation. A Tiffany & Co.-themed formal included creative awards, much celebration and recognition of graduates. Sisters look forward to polish week in September.

QUEBEC Bishop’s (Eta Chi) The chapter more than doubled its size following winter formal recruitment. They volunteered within the community and enjoyed sisterhood events, including a

Chapman (Eta Upsilon) Collegians celebrated women’s heart health by hosting a series of events every Wednesday in February. WESTERN ONTARIO (THETA ETA) The chapter celebrates the end of the academic year at their formal.

CSU/LONG BEACH (GAMMA KAPPA) Sisters enjoy a new Party Hearty philanthropy event.

CSU/Long Beach (Gamma Kappa) The chapter received 13 awards during the university’s Greek Awards event, more than any other chapter on campus. Annie Williams was named Sorority President of the Year, and Rachel Rodriguez was named Chapter Advisor of the Year. Members hosted the annual Phi Ball and Red Dress Ball philanthropy events. They also created a new National Wear Red Day event, Party Hearty, that included games, treats, making Valentines for a local children’s hospital and a DJ. The annual Mr. Heartthrob philanthropy event also raised money for Alpha Phi Foundation. Annie Williams was crowned Homecoming queen. The chapter placed second in Sigma Pi soccer. CSU/Northridge (Epsilon Upsilon) The chapter successfully hosted a number of events, including their annual Phiesta taco social and Phi Ball basketball tournament. Support from other Greek organizations helped raise money for Alpha Phi Foundation. Facebook: CSUN Alpha Phi

Stanford (Kappa) The chapter’s first major philanthropy event was a success. The Mr. Alpha Phi - King of Hearts event raised money for Alpha Phi Foundation.
