Zona abierta, pastizal Open field, grassland Septiembre a abril September through April 17.5 a 19 cm; parte superior color cenizo, vientre color canela. Es una especie migratoria, anida en el norte de México. No confundir con la hembra de papamoscas cardenalito, que tiene el pecho blanco con finas rayas. 7” to 7.5”; grayish-brown above, tawny below. It is a migratory species; nests in northern Mexico. Do not confuse with the female Vermilion Flycatcher, which has a whitish breast with fine dark streaks.
