All of our courses are offered through the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Technology at Alfred, which is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Non Alfred State students can apply to transfer course credits to their home institution by requesting a SUNY Alfred transcript. 1

Internship Placement Sant’Anna Institute (formerly Sorrento Lingue) will assist study abroad students with placement in Sorrento, Italy. Internship opportunities are possible in many areas including but not limited to: • Management, Marketing, Production (Education Institute, Limoncello/ Buffalo Mozzarella Manufacturing, Personal Fitness Organizations) • Tourism (Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, Hotels) • Culinary (Restaurants and Bakeries) • Architecture (Private Firms) Alfred State program coordinators will work with Sant’Anna and interested students to find the appropriate placement. 7

Estimate of Costs Studying abroad in Sorrento, Italy, is a once-in-a-life time experience with the potential to benefit participants in myriad ways. Sant’Anna Institute Fees: $9,500* Includes all courses taught by SASL, materials for courses taught by SASL, housing, orientation to community and institute, course related excursions, arrival transfer from Naples airport, free wireless Internet at SASL, 24hour SASL assistance, and a 24/7 emergency contact.
