The Zips made one last push, cutting into the deficit on their first offensive series of the second half. Allen sparked the drive with a career-long, 74-yard rush up the middle to the NIU 1-yard line and found the end zone two plays later to make it 29-14. Allen’s long spurt was the 18th-longest rush from scrimmage in UA history.
