Our Document Camera Challenge

My Grade 1 students were inspired by what @mrjarbenne did in this blog post.

As an end to our structures unit, and with a look at our eco school focus and the need to reuse, the students decided to make their own document cameras.

Some students worked on their own, and others worked in partners. They tried, they tested, and they tried again.

All of the document cameras worked. Yeah!!

Since all of the materials were already in the classroom or recyclable materials, the only cost for this document camera is $20 for the webcam. Awesome!
