Nursery: Our well staffed nursery is available on the upper level across from the Worship Center doors. The 8:30 AM nursery is for children who are infants to pre-school, and the 11:00 AM nursery is for children who are infants to 36 months.

Children’s Church provides an age appropriate learning environment for our families in Classroom #3 on the lower level. Children age 3 – 5 years old are welcome to participate. Children should arrive prior to the start of the worship service.

Connecting with Our Church Family Thanksgiving Break There will be no regular activities on Wednesday, November 25 and no Sunday School on Sunday, November 29 because of the holiday.

Children’s Sunday School Our wonderful staff of teachers welcome children from preschool through 6th grade to join them each week from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. Children’s classrooms are located on the lower level of the Worship Center.

Small Group Ministry Our Thursday evening small group, of which Lee and Barb Williamson are members, has prepared a variety of baked goods for our church family today. All donations contributed toward the bakery items will go to the Williamsons to help defray the medical cost from Lee’s fall on September 29. Lee has undergone two surgeries, weeks of therapy, and has progressed to the point that was released from the hospital this past Thursday. He will continue therapy at the Courage Center in Stillwater.

Visitors - We are so glad you’ve come this morning to seek the Lord Jesus Christ and worship Him together with us. Please take a moment to complete the Connection Card in the worship folder. After doing so, tear it off and bring it to the Information Center in the lobby to receive a complimentary gift bag and information about the ministries of our church.

It’s back! Our student Ministry will be hosting a Chili Cook-off on November 22 following the second service at the Student Center. Join us, starting at noon, for some of the best chilies in the Valley and vote for your favorite. The Packers vs. Vikings game will also be on the big screens at 3:25 p.m.! All proceeds will go to support our high school students attending the LIFE


Conference in Kansas City this Connecting with Our summer. If you’d like to enter a chili into the contest, sign up at the Community Information Center or talk with Open Arms Community Pastor Chris.

Dinner

Christmas Poinsettias $10.00 each | Orders Due Nov.29 Again this Christmas we are offering the opportunity to honor the memory of a friend or family member with the purchase of a Poinsettia. They will be used to decorate the worship center and may be taken home following our Christmas Eve service. Order envelopes are available at the Information Center. Checks should be made payable to ACV and placed in the offering or deposited at the Information Center.

Winter Family Retreat January 8-10, 2016 Big Sandy Camp, McGregor, MN

Tuesday | 5:00-6:30 PM Our Thanksgiving Dinner is one of our biggest and best-attended meals of the year. Be sure to invite friends, neighbors, or work colleagues to join us this Tuesday evening. Connecting with the Nations Operation Christmas Child Boxes Due November 23

This Christmas, share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with a needy Save the date and mark your child using a simple shoebox filled calendars. This is a fun event for with school supplies, hygiene the whole family and worth every penny. We are so excited to have items, clothing and toys. Operation Christmas Child is an easy, fun Dan & Sandy Adler, with Heart of mission project designed for all the City Ministries as our guest ages. JOY Group Thursday | 11:30 AM Great Room The J.O.Y. Group will be meeting on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the Great Room for potluck. Ages 55+ are invited to attend.

Youth Ministry Thanksgiving Break There will be no youth group on Wednesday, November 25.

Planet Wisdom December 4-5 | Cost $ 55.00 6-12th grade students Registration Due Wednesday Our students will once again be participating in Planet Wisdom, a two-day conference in the Twin Cities featuring Mark Matlock, the Skit Guys and the Jordan Hawthorn Band. Join us for this fun weekend!

LIFE Conference July 5-10, 2016 | 9-12th grade Kansas City, MO Every three years, high school students from around the nation gather for the LIFE conference. This year we will be in Kansas City, MO for a week that will include speaker Francis Chan, a service project and tons of fun! Registration is due November 29. Oasis District Retreat January 22-24 Camp Forest Springs Cost: $110.00 Register by January 6 High school students are encouraged to mark your calendars for this year’s Oasis retreat. Snowboarding, downhill skiing, broomball and other outdoor activities along with great worship and teaching. This year’s speaker is Zane Black and worship will be led by Attaboy.
