In 1996 International Hair Cosmetics Ltd. UK conceived, created and launched the premium hair care brand Affinage. Originated as a line of permanent hair colour, the Affinage brand grew rapidly to include tone on tone and fashion colours, permanent waves, specialist highlighting systems, bleaching powders, shampoos, conditioners and styling products that have been enthusiastically embraced by consumers and the hairdressing industry worldwide. Today, Affinage is sold in over 50 countries - across Europe, Africa, the United States, South America, and the Asia Pacific. The Affinage brand is marketed globally by International Hair Cosmetics Ltd. UK and through it’s Affinage Salon Professional group of companies in the USA and Australia. Distribution is achieved through a worldwide network of wholesalers and specialist distributors. In 2004 the UK Company’s Research and Development Laboratory in Italy used it’s revolutionary DATEM™ Technology to create Infiniti - the world’s most advanced hair colour. Today, the team headed by Dott. Nicola Summer continue to break new ground in the development exciting, industry leading hair products that will further strengthen Affinage’s reputation as one of the fastest growing haircare companies in the world. This growth is spearheaded by the twin aims of unrivaled product innovation and quality, supported by comprehensive training and education systems.
