Senior Software Engineer Wanted (Java etc.)
Issuu's looking for a talented developer interested in highly scalable systems.
You will mainly be working on expanding and improving our content pipeline, including search/indexing, data harvesting,
and batch processing of raw content. At Issuu we're very open-source oriented and you will have the opportunity to work
on some of the best open-source projects. We have a high focus on scalability and fault-tolerance, and an interest in
distributed computing is a must.

Responsibilities
- Expand and improve our content pipeline by designing and implementing new innovative features critical to success
- Work with the operations team, other engineering teams, and the product team to deliver a reliable high performance processing system
- Contribute to engineering best practices
Requirements
- MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
- Significant experience with Java or C#
- 4+ years of server-side development experience, preferably on Unix/Linux
- Adept understanding of scalability and performance considerations
- Motivated self-starter, fast learner, good communication skills (English)
