AACD Congratulates the Accreditation “Class of 2011”! The Largest Class in History!

S

ince the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s credentialing process was created 25 years ago, 356 members in AACD history have become Accredited. It’s the rarified air of dentistry’s most accomplished practitioners and laboratory technicians. The Accreditation process is designed to give dental professionals the chance to learn, grow, and interact with colleagues working toward the same goal. The process consists of a written examination, clinical case submissions and an oral examination. Becoming Accredited helps dentists and laboratory technicians provide better care to their patients and clients and distinguishes their practices within their communities. Becoming an Accredited Member is a significant accomplishment. But there is more: Becoming an Accredited Fellow Member! Fellowship is the highest level of achievement-only 55 members in history have achieved this status. In 2011, we warmly welcomed the 55th member to this esteemed group. Dr. Nancy Norling made her first Fellowship submission in July of 2009. In two short years, she passed all 50 case submissions. This is an incredible achievement and it demonstrates her commitment to exemplary clinical skills and to the field of cosmetic dentistry.
