The 2011 Pledge Class

On February 12th, 2011 our chapter will initiate three girls. One of the three girls is Amy Keith, she is a freshman II and studying Mechanical Engineering. Another one of the three girls is Claire Swainson, she is a sophomore II and is also studying Mechanical Engineering. The last of the three girls is Hayley Schuller, she is a freshman II and is also studying Mechanical Engineering.

Red Dress Gala

For all who attended the Red Dress Gala, thank you! This event was a great success. The gala was September 11, 2010 at Tavern on the Green in Flint, MI. We had every pledge class represented with a total of about 40 alumni. Through the silent auction we raised $754!

Philanthropy

Our annual Cardiac Care Week is January 24th-29th. The week’s events include: Monday- Mini Health Fair, Tuesday- Frosty Phi Snowman Building Competition, Wednesday-Melt the Ice Competition, Thursday- Chili Cook-off, and Friday-Sled Race/Hot Cocoa Social. The main event will be a Euchre Tournament on Saturday, January 29th from 3-6pm in the Sunset Room. The Euchre Tournament is $10/ per team. First place winners win $100 in gift cards and second place winners win $50 in gift cards. Alumni is more than welcome to attend any of the events!

All proceeds will go to the Alpha Phi Foundation supporting cardiac care for women.
