WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? OUTSIDE THAILAND, WE WILL NEED: A completed application form. A note from you with your highest qualification. Photocopies of passport ID and all stamped pages. A passport sized photo 3 cm x 4 cm. Parent’s names, present jobs and religion. Present home country address.

50% administration and course fee deposit. We will send a letter and payment receipt to support your Education Visa request when you apply for a visa from your home country. Check with your local Thai Embassy or Consulate to see if you need a letter from the Thai Ministry of Education and let us know. INSIDE THAILAND - ALL OF THE ABOVE PLUS: A copy of your personal bank statement showing a minimum of 200,000 baht equivalent currency. A total of 12 passport size photos 3 cm x 4 cm. Your current Koh Samui address. The application from the Thai Ministry of Education will take 3 to 4 weeks to process. You will then visit a neighbouring Asian country to collect your Education Visa.
COURSE OPTIONS We offer both group and private study courses. Short-term is good for intensive private study. Long-term group study can include application for an Education Visa, valid for 1 year with the option to extend for up to 5 years.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS WHAT IS A NON IMMIGRANT EDUCATION VISA? Foreign students can apply for an Education Visa to study in Thailand for at least 6 months and up to 5 years. We will help with your application. WHY HAVE AN EDUCATION VISA? You can stay long-term in Thailand without leaving on expensive and time consuming visa runs. We can handle your payments for your extension every 3 months at the local Samui Immigration. HOW DO I GET AN EDUCATION VISA? (SEE OVER) Apply for a 90 day Education Visa at the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in your country, then visit our office when you arrive on Samui. If you are already on Samui, then just visit our office or contact us by email, supply the correct documentation and we will administrate and process your application for you. HOW OFTEN DO I HAVE TO COME TO SCHOOL? To complete the 200 hour course in 1 year, at least 4 hours a week (2 x 2 hour lessons). HOW LONG CAN I STUDY? With a yearly letter from the Ministry of Education you can study for up to 5 years with the same visa. DO I NEED TO MAKE FULL PAYMENT? Pay 50% upon application and the final payment when you receive your Education Visa. CAN I WORK WITH AN EDUCATION VISA? Work Permits are not issued with an Education Visa. To legally work, you will need to change your visa. CAN I OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT, BUY A CAR OR BIKE? Yes, with a letter from the school. ARE MY FAMILY COVERED WITH THE VISA? Only family children under 14 years old.
