APRIL VERCH’s live performance at last year’s Celtic Colours Festival in Cape Breton Island was nothing short of incredible. Fiddler, singer, and step dancer, this “triple threat” is a master of the Ottawa Valley style of fiddling, which is based on traditional Irish jigs and reels.
