As thrill seekers you have to be responsible and claim responsibility for your own safety rather than relying solely on the organiser’s arrangements. Avoid donning any headwear like caps or earphones, etc. Also pass the urge to wear loose clothes, dress comfortably and sensibly. It's better to keep those sparkly stones for dinner parties: avoid jewellery. Also make sure that your footwear won't slip off mid-fall which can create a hazard for you. 2. Some precautions you can observe are, not going for the jump if you have any heart ailment or neural discrepancy like epilepsy. Also avoid this activity if your blood pressure is hitting the roof i.e. is higher than normal. Also if you are asthmatic, diabetic, suffer from glass eyes, false limbs, etc. it's better if you not do the jump or consult your doctor first. Pregnant ladies are strictly prohibited from this bone jerking activity. 3. A person above the age of 50 years maybe asked for a medical certificate from hi/her doctor saying that he/she is fit enough to undertake this strenuous sport. You should also think twice before getting ready for the harness if you have back ailments or joint problems. 4. Inform the staff about any medications that you have ingested prior to the jump. Alcohol is allowed before the jump but you can be denied the chance to jump if you are intoxicated beyond a certain degree at which the organisers feel it’s hazardous to let you go forth with the jump. 5. Always check the apparatus being used. The sights listed above are very professional and safe but slip ups can happen with even the most immaculate. Double check the safety harness and listen to the instructions about the jump very carefully. Ask anything if you have a doubt. Know the instructor's qualifications and experience.
