Early Life 1. As a little boy he was a thin and sick boy. 2. He went to Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts like his father and brother. . 3. He married Jacqueline Bouvier.


Struggles he overcomes He had a disease that was called Addison’s disease and he didn’t want to tell anyone or that would affect his political career. When he was young he was separated from the American forces. A Japanese ship cut the boat in half John decided that the crew should swim to a nearby island. He had to carry a man who was badly injured, but he didn’t care.


What made them Famous He was the second youngest president. He was only 43. One of his greatest idea’s was the Peace Corps. The Peace Corps workers would teach people how to read and write.


How this person impacted society He stopped dangerous nuclear weapons from firing at the United States by talking to Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev. Kennedy was mad that black people still weren’t treated right, so he proposed a civil rights bill that was later passed by the United States Congress.


What surprised me about this person What surprised me the most was that he didn’t like the way black people were treated, so he decided to make a civil rights bill that was passed by the United States Congress. Also that he wanted to lead the space exploration. People doubted that a person could go to the moon and come back safely. Sure enough two people were sent to the moon and the came back safe and sound.

Time Line 1917- Born on May 29,in Brookline, Massachusetts. 1943- Leads navy ship crew to safety. 1946- Elected to United States Congress. 1953- Marries Jacqueline Bouvier. 1961- Inaugurated as President. 1963- Proposes civil rights bill, and assassinated on November 22, in Dallas Texas.
